Mathilde Rouiller est performeuse, plasticienne et chercheuse, son travail s’articule principalement autour de la notion de paysages. Elle s’intéresse tout particulièrement à l’écologie des gestes, aux mouvements chorégraphiés insoupçonnés du vivant et à leurs relations aux éléments abiotiques tels que la lumière ou les liquidités. Ses projets peuvent prendre la forme de performances, mises en scènes et installations.

En parallèle d'un parcours de recherche-création notamment à l'EHESS, GSAS/Columbia University, et SPEAP de Bruno Latour (Sciences Po/Nanterre-Amandiers), elle a collaboré à de nombreux projets collectifs et individuels (Contemporaines, The Textured Form) ainsi qu'à plusieurs commandes et collaborations. Depuis 2022, elle a notamment exposé et résidé à la Maison Artagon, Flux Laboratory Athens, la Fondation Thalie, Les Ateliers de la Madeleine.

Elle mène actuellement un projet de recherche-création autour du sel et des rituels méditerranéens, initié à la Fondation Atopos à Athènes dans le programme curatorial The Office of Hydrocommons. Elle est artiste associée à la Maison Forte dans le Lot-et-Garonne depuis Juillet 2025.

Mathilde Rouiller is a performer, visual artist, and researcher. Her work is primarily structured around the notion of landscape. She is particularly interested in the ecology of gestures, the often-unnoticed choreographed movements of living beings, and their relationships with abiotic elements such as light and liquids. Her projects take the form of performances, stagings, and installations.

Alongside a research-creation trajectory developed notably at EHESS, GSAS/Columbia University, and SPEAP (Bruno Latour, Sciences Po / Nanterre-Amandiers), she has collaborated on numerous collective and individual projects (including Contemporaines and The Textured Form), as well as on several commissions and artistic collaborations. Since 2022, she has exhibited and taken part in residencies at Maison Artagon, Flux Laboratory Athens, Thalie Foundation, and Les Ateliers de la Madeleine.

She is currently developing a research-creation project centered on salt and Mediterranean rituals, initiated at Atopos Foundation in Athens as part of the curatorial program The Office of Hydrocommons. Since July 2025, she has been an associate artist at Maison Forte in Lot-et-Garonne.
